More on life in Brazil...

I keep talking about the rains here.
For us, this has been a novelty. At around 4pm, the heavens open and we're flooded. The rains usually end not too long after with the water being gone within half an hour

Our corner... The little cart belongs to our local hobo. They love the rain... it wets the cardboard they collect, which they sell by weight

Many people park their cars on the curbs to prevent their engines being flooded. Note the little fountain in the middle of the road.... we have a river running under the road and when the water table rises, the manhole cover lifts off and often ends up floating down the road.

Fun... fun!

Tam should use this pic as an ad! "We deliver at all costs". I doubt the driver will get bonuses for going through that dam and he's at the shallow end
